All is well

Just wanted to post again before someone complains that I haven't posted in awhile...(you know who you are!)

Things are good so far here in Houston. I love my new apartment: granite counter tops, ceiling fans, HUGE garden tub, washer/dryer, good size balcony, computer niche, and the parking garage is attached so when I park on the third level, I can just walk straight to my door. I love it all. Chester was VERY happy to see his scatching post again. (I placed him on top of the post when I brought him in and he didn't get down for 30 min.) He finally realized that the moving from place-to-place was done for awhile.

I still have not shipped my belongings from Oklahoma yet. I need money in my bank account first. Hopefully by the end of the month I will get them shipped. I need to purchase a couch and desk chair also. The chair is needed to be able to sit and finish up my thesis, of course.

I also wanted to let everyone know that they are missed. Unfortunately my heart is happiest here in Texas, while some close friends and family still reside in the Northwest. Visits are still to come and of course all are welcome to visit me.
