A group of interns 1500' beneath the surface in a salt (dome) mineI am entering the advanced internet world. (Sorry Kelli, this is as close to myspace.com that I will ever get!)
I have just finished my exit interview here at Anadarko and the outlook is very positive. I have received nothing but "Outstanding" performance reviews from my team and managers. Our Chief G&G has just told me that I should expect to hear something before the end of September, but that there is no reason (based on my performance and personality) not to receive an offer. As most of you know Anadarko has just purchased two companies and are in the middle of a major intergration effort. There is job uncertainty for everyone.
Tomorrow is my last day at work, then on to packing my apartment and getting everything in storage. A friend is letting me park my truck at her house while I will be in Washington/Idaho for two months. While I am in the NW again I will mainly be working on my thesis with my advisor in Moscow, ID. I will also have time to see my family and friends again. I know how much I miss them all, I can only imagine how much they must miss me even more!!

Kimmy Lou,
Though the family wasn't in need of a 'Rock Doctor' you will continually be looked up to by us all. We have always supported your 'dreams' and are very proud of your achievements. I hope the struggle you have endured over the past 4 years will soon have a huge pay-off $$ in a positive way. You have exceeded most of the dreams I ever had for you. You have accomplished so much in your life so far and you will do great things in your future. May God continue to bless and watch over you. (Since you are going to live so far away from me and Daddy, your favorite mechanic!)
I hope, when you have settled down in a job, maybe you might think about possibly finding a nice kitty buddy for Chester, so he won't be so lonely while you are at work or on trips. (and get them an automatic litterbox)
You bestow me with so much pride and love. What more could a mother ask for!
See you soon.
Houston has no idea what it is in for with a chic like you around!! I am also proud and happy for you to be settling down. We've got our fingers crossed for you and that job offer....
and how about this date? Dying to know more!
Almost spent the night in the beer store tonight, it was love at first sight. ALL of the Big Sky line! Wow!
Love ya, JKB
